New midsize sedan in the works at Chrysler

In addition to completely redesigning the 200 model next year, Chrysler will soon be rolling out a brand-new midsize sedan that will replace the current Dodge Avenger. During the first quarter of 2014, the popular American vehicle manufacturer will begin selling the new car, which will be built with components jointly designed with Italian automaker Fiat SpA. Chrysler's current midsize cars were revealed in 2006 and updated three years ago. Their designs are the oldest in the midsize car market, so they are certainly due for an upgrade.
